Call required nights and weekends.Job DescriptionThe PACU Registered Nurse will provide care for patients recovering from anesthesia and surgery. Responsibilities will involve monitoring patient conditions, administering medication, and ensuring a smooth recovery process in the post-anesthesia care unit.Responsibilities Monitoring patient vital signs and overall recovery status in the PACU environment. Administering medications as prescribed and managing patient pain effectively. Providing education to patients and families regarding recovery protocols and post-operative care. Collaborating with anesthesiologists and surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Participating in departmental meetings and continuous education to enhance nursing practices.Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Registered Nurse (RN) license required. Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required.
