In this role, you will perform preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, equipment improvements, equipment upgrades, and equipment installation. You will interface and communicate with engineering and manufacturing groups across the fab to ensure all issues are solved appropriately and efficiently.Responsibilities IncludeImprove system performance to achieve process requirements and eliminate repetitive downsMonitor and analyze all related data to improve and maintain tool performance and address all tool related issuesCoordinate supplier service and repairs where neededPrepare the technical report and summary findings and recommending solutions to technical problemsQualificationsMinimum requirements:High School diploma/GED18 years of age or olderOne of the following:‒2 years of semiconductor experience as Technician OR‒5 years of non-semiconductor/military Technician experienceAbility to work 12 hour compressed work scheduleFlexible to work day or night shift that will include one weekend shift and holidaysPreferred QualificationsTechnician experience in Ion Implant, Plasma Etch, or Thin Films preferred but not required.Self-driven with ability to identify and resolve issues to improve equipment performanceGood troubleshooting skills on electrical/mechanical systemsExcellent organizational, teaming and troubleshooting skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skillsAbility to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functionsAbility to take the initiative and drive for resultsStrong time management skills that enable on-time project deliveryAbility to work effectively in an interrupt-driven, fast-paced and rapidly changing environmentDemonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationshipAbout UsWhy TI?Engineer your future.
