Intermediate Interior Designer

ALISONDAMONTE is a San Francisco–based residential interior design studio. We are a small, collaborative studio that values long-term relationships, thoughtful execution, and a willingness to explore ideas across eras, materials, and disciplines, working closely with artists, artisans, and makers to build projects that are personal and considered.About the RoleWe are seeking an Intermediate Interior Designer with professional experience in high-end residential interior design to join our growing studio. This role is ideal for a thoughtful, highly organized designer who is ready to take increasing ownership of projects while continuing to develop within a collaborative and design-focused environment.The ideal candidate has experience working within a residential interior design firm and is comfortable contributing across all phases of a project—from design development and technical documentation through sourcing, procurement coordination, and installation support. Strong design sensibility, attention to detail, and enthusiasm for the creative process are essential.ResponsibilitiesSupport and lead portions of residential interior design projects from concept through installationDevelop and maintain AutoCAD drawing sets, including plans, elevations, and interior detailsCreate and modify SketchUp models and presentation materialsContribute to design development, furniture layouts, finish selections, and material palettesPrepare client presentations using Adobe Creative Suite and Google SuiteSource furnishings, lighting, textiles, materials, and decorative elementsCoordinate with vendors, workrooms, fabricators, and consultantsAssist with procurement tracking, project organization, and studio systemsConduct site visits, showroom sourcing, and installation support throughout the Bay AreaMaintain organized project files, schedules, and documentationQualifications3–6 years of professional experience in residential interior design requiredPrevious experience working at a residential interior design firm strongly preferredDegree in Interior Design or related field preferredStrong AutoCAD proficiency requiredSketchUp proficiency preferredExperience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) and Google SuiteStrong organizational, communication, and time management skillsAbility to take initiative while working collaboratively within a small studio environmentDetail-oriented with a strong design sensibility and interest in materials, furnishings, and interiorsValid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally throughout the Bay Area requiredWhat We OfferHealthcare, dental, and vision benefits401(k) with employer matchAlternate work week schedule (every other Friday off)Hands-on involvement across all phases of residential design projectsOpportunity for increasing project ownership and professional growth over timeHow to ApplyPlease send a brief personal letter, resume, and portfolio to work@alisondamonte.com.We value thoughtful, personally written applications that reflect genuine interest in our studio and work.
