Wood, Patel & Associates, Inc. Responsibilities Manage and maintain the company's network infrastructure, including servers, switches, firewalls, wireless networks, and VPN connections. Monitor system performance and ensure network availability and reliability across all offices and remote connections. Maintain and support Windows servers, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 environments. Assist with network security monitoring, patch management, and vulnerability mitigation. Troubleshoot network connectivity and system performance issues. Support backups, disaster recovery systems, and data protection procedures. Work with IT leadership to implement infrastructure upgrades and technology improvements with a security-first mindset. Assist with onboarding new employees by configuring network access, user accounts, and system permissions. Maintain documentation of network architecture, systems, and procedures. Coordinate with external vendors and service providers when necessary. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred. 3–5 years of experience managing network infrastructure in a professional environment. Experience managing Windows Server environments, monitoring, and troubleshooting server-related issues. Experience with user and group management, permissions, authentication troubleshooting, and Group Policy. Administration of Entra ID, user identity management, and understanding of hybrid identity environments. Knowledge of networking concepts including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, and firewalls. Experience with network monitoring tools and backup solutions. Familiarity with virtualization environments such as VMware or Hyper-V, including managing virtual machines. Ability to recognize and elevate potential security issues or alerts. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
