Network/Data Engineer

Network/Data Engineer is to provide support to the CBL Battle Lab Facilitylocated at Fort Gordon, GA. All work will be performed onsite. This contract will support theCBL's mission is to provide experimentation support to the C- CDID with a dynamic networkexperimentation integrated with CO, DODIN-A, EW, and IA through the Cyber Battle Lab’sExperimentation Branch (EB), Environments Support Branch (ESB), and the Army PersistentExperimentation Environment (APEN) Cyber Enterprise Service Center (CESC).The Experimentation Support contract will provide support in the form of experiments, assessments,analyses and network support that will validate the proposed new technical solutions to resolveknown Doctrine, Organization, Training, Material, Leadership & Education, Personnel, FacilitiesPolicy (DOTMLPF-P) capability gaps within the CO, EW, Network, and IA force modernizationlines of effortNetwork/Data Engineer ShallShall provide verification of DoD 8570.01 / DoD 8140 IAT level II baseline certificationrequirements (CCNA Security (preferred) or CSA+ or GICSP or GSEC or Securitiesor SSCP) AND computing environment certification (CCNA Security or CCNAR&S).All required certifications must be maintained and updated as needed.2 CME must have certification and provide verification of Cisco Certified NetworkProfessional (CCNP) security or CCNP R&S.All other Network / Data Engineers in the RHN-E shall provide verification of either (1)CCNP R&S certification, or (2) certificate of completion in CCNP TSHOOT 2015Video Boot Camp from Udemy. All required certifications must be maintained andupdated as needed.Network/Data engineers within the RHN-E who also perform System AdministrationAssistant duties must have on day one certification in A+CE or CCNA-Security orNetwork+ CE or SSCP or include (preferred) or other IAT Level II or IIIcertification.Have five years of experience directly related to the position, having worked in the field asa network data engineer.Experience in troubleshooting and configuration of Cisco Routers and Switches, Cisco CallManager, Cisco Voice-over-IP phones, Cisco ASA security appliances, Promina/IDNX,REDCOM PBX, KIV-7M, and TACLANE devices.Experience in the installation and operation of DELL Servers, Uninterruptible PowerSupplies (UPS) Patch Panels, Media Converters, Avocent KVM switches,Ethernet/Fiber/Coaxial cables.Experience in Cryptographic Key Management.Experience in performing preventative maintenance on all hardware, as recommended bythe equipment vendor's specified warranty.Obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
