2nd Shift - Plastics Machine Operator: Long-Term Employment
About Job:
Set up dies, auxiliary equipment, and operate machines to produce extruded or injection molded thermoplastic product required per specification.
Troubleshoot, when necessary, to resolve a part quality issue or equipment problem.
Perform and document preventive maintenance requirements for equipment and tooling within the department.
Issue necessary job order paperwork and labels to the workstation.
Assist in establishing equipment and facility needs for the Plastics Department.
Sustain Lean Manufacturing principles.
Deliver high-quality products on time.
Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained
Experience:
1-2 years of experience working in plastics or injection molding
The ability to read and write English legibly
Basic skills using electrical and mechanical measurement tools
Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide)
Data entry skills
