About the Role
We are seeking a Structural Engineer to support the design and delivery of civil infrastructure projects focused on water resources. In this role, you’ll contribute to structural design, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients, and support projects from concept through construction.
Key Responsibilities
Perform structural design calculations, analyses, and quantity estimates for water resource infrastructure
Develop engineering drawings and documents using industry-standard design software
Coordinate with drafters/technicians to translate designs into construction documents
Collaborate with clients to understand project requirements and provide updates
Review shop drawings for compliance with design intent and specifications
Assist with construction cost estimating and project planning
Support construction activities by resolving structural issues and monitoring progress
Conduct site visits and, when needed, serve as an onsite project representative
Ensure work aligns with applicable codes, standards, and internal quality procedures
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Structural emphasis)
Knowledge of structural analysis and design (concrete and steel)
Familiarity with design loads, load paths, and structural systems
Proficiency with engineering and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, structural analysis tools)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred:
Experience with water resource or civil infrastructure projects
Familiarity with structural condition assessments or masonry design
Technical Skills
Structural analysis (2D/3D systems, axial/bending behavior, lateral systems)
Reinforced concrete and structural steel design
Engineering software (e.g., Robot, RAM, VisualAnalysis)
CAD tools (AutoCAD, Revit)
Microsoft Office Suite
