Senior Data Analytics/Application Developer - Secret Clearance

Overview In this role you drive data analytics and application development for the Navy International Programs Office (NIPO). You build dashboards, data pipelines, and self-service products to transform data into actionable intelligence for analysts and decision-makers. You work on-site at the Washington Navy Yard, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions that support strategic goals. You will train users and ensure code quality and security. ResponsibilitiesProvide data analytics and application development support to NIPO and develop innovative data products for analysts and decision-makersBuild automated dashboards and maintain data pipelines across Advana/Jupiter Dataverse using diverse toolsCreate and support custom-built applications and provide Ad-Hoc reports to NIPO leadershipEnsure data integrity and pipeline stability; perform code reviews to identify security vulnerabilitiesMeet milestones and deliver high-quality analytics/applications from inception to conclusionProvide user training and maintain documentation for deployed solutionsIdentify technology limitations and propose practical recommendations to Government lead Key requirementsBachelor’s Degree with 10 years of relevant experience in technical roles; or 15 years of relevant experience in lieu of the degreeExperience in development, design, programming, documentation, training, complex data models, configurations, access controls and basic taxonomyAbility to obtain and maintain a Secret clearanceExperience with data integration, automation, and analytics in a government or similar environmentcontinuous process improvementtimely recommendations to managementclear communicationQlikTableauDatabricks
