General Laborer- Manatee

OverviewWe are currently hiring General Laborers to support our Port Manatee operations. This is a great part-time opportunity for a dependable, hands-on individual who enjoys working in an active, team-oriented environment. Must be willing to perform loading, unloading duties, cleaning tasks and operate some small machines, work around water preparing cargo and following safety guidelines. Must be able to work overtime, nights and weekends while working in all weather conditions.ResponsibilitiesWhat your day looks like as a General Laborer:Prepare cargo for loading/unloadingFollow loading plansOperate small equipment as instructedGeneral housekeeping duties to maintain a safe work environmentHeavy lifting dutiesObserve all safety rules and use good safety work habits.QualificationsWhat we're looking for:High School Graduate or GED.Able to work around waterAbility to lift 50 lbs regularly throughout a shiftAttention to detail and safety protocolsAble to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
