Role Description Job Title: Physician Assistant (PA) – Interventional Pain Management Location: Smyrna, TN ( 23 miles from downtown Nashville TN ) Employment Type: Full-Time We are seeking a skilled and compassionate full time Physician Assistant to join our pain management team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a well-supported clinical environment with an established patient base and strong support staff. The ideal candidate is confident in treating pain patients, comfortable with controlled substance prescribing, coordinating interventional procedures, and committed to delivering high-quality, ethical care. Candidates must be comfortable practicing within a structured, compliance-driven model, including adherence to prescribing guidelines, laboratory protocols and ordering interventional pain procedures. Key Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with acute and chronic pain conditions Determine if interventional pain procedures are appropriate based on clinical guidelines Implement individualized treatment plans Perform major joint, trigger point and Botox injections Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans under physician supervision Educate patients on pain management strategies, treatment options, and expectations Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure continuity of care Adhere to clinic policies, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements Prescribe medications, including controlled substances, in accordance with state and federal regulations Document patient encounters in an EMR Qualifications Experience in pain management, orthopedics, neurology, or neurosurgical care preferred Active and unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Tennessee DEA license with experience prescribing controlled substances Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills Experience with EMR systems Compensation & Benefits Salary to be negotiated based on experience 401(k) Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays CME opportunities Malpractice coverage https://precisionpaincare.com
