Quick Service AttendantThe Quick Service Attendant is responsible for service and presentation of all areas of Restaurant Row and Elements. The primary purpose of the position is to maintain excellent guest service, to ensure guest satisfaction and a future return. The Quick Service Attendants are expected to provide prompt, courteous, friendly and professional service to all Soboba Casino Resort guests at all times. Performing their jobs on a daily basis, they are required to be detailed in every aspect of their work while maintaining an efficient pace. The Quick Service Attendant will adhere to all rules and guidelines as set by the department. The Quick Service Attendant is responsible for maintaining product inventory levels, cooking/preparing food items and general cash handling on a daily basis. The Quick Service Attendant is to maintain an attitude of cooperation and professionalism with all employees and guests.Duties/ResponsibilitiesProvide guests with a fun, friendly, and helpful experience while following all of the Soboba Service StandardsAlways work as a team player and be capable of being cross trained at managers discretionAnswer incoming calls to the venueFollow standard recipes for food menu and cocktail menu, adjusting only at guests' requests.Participate in menu item planning, prep and presentationAssist cooks with preparing items in the kitchen such as prepping items, using fryers, etc. as neededSide work, cleaning and stocking line and storage areas, as well as maintaining dining room cleanlinessDisplays knowledge of proper food presentation including handling, garnishing and serving of all food itemsStore and rotate items in the proper manner using FIFO.Adheres to all rules, policies and regulations as stated in the Soboba Casino Employee HandbookChange and maintain CO2 tanks and kegsKnowledge of all food and drink offeringsServing and preparing food to multiple guests in a short period of timeMaintain accurate bank and be able to use POS system and credit card machine, maintain proper records of transactions throughout daily shift when applicableCompeting daily checklists and having them signed off by Supervisor, Lead or ManagerResponsible for preparing the order and/or notifying leadership of any items out of stock that need to be orderedMaintain and inform management of any problems with equipment or facilitiesMaintain cleanliness and sanitation of all department outlets according to Soboba Casino standardsIs capable of working in a safe and clean manner and reports all unsafe conditions immediately to supervisor or takes personal responsibility if supervisor is not immediately availableComplete assigned tasks as well as completing individual opening and closing proceduresMust be physically present to work a regular, reliable, and predictable work schedule in accordance with business demands, and maintain a consistent and regular attendance record. (Scheduling is based on business needs)Is willing and capable of following directions from leadership at all timesProtect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol control policiesOther duties as may be assigned from time-to-timeEducation / QualificationsMust be 18 years of age, or olderAny combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilitiesMust be able to communicate articulately, both verbally and in writingMust be detail-orientated, accurate and reliable; able to multi-taskMust be professional in appearance and demeanor, with a positive and upbeat attitudeMust be a team player who can also prioritize and work with limited supervisionFood preparation and kitchen safety experience, preferredHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent preferredBasic math skills requiredMust be able to provide evidence of eligibility to work in the United States of AmericaCertificates, Licenses and RegistrationAbility to obtain and maintain a valid Soboba Tribal Gaming Commission licenseRequired to submit to and obtain negative results on all drug and/or alcohol testing.Must complete TIPS training and become TIPS certified after being hiredMust be able to obtain and maintain RBS certification within the first 60 days of employmentMust hold a valid Riverside County food handlers' card within one week of start dateSoboba Casino Resort BenefitsFull-time team members are eligible to participate in a variety of group health and wellness benefits upon timely submission of appropriate enrollment forms.
