Policy Analyst
We are looking for policy analyst. It is remote position.Policy Analyst –Remote Key Responsibilities • Conduct research and analysis on policy, political, legislative, regulatory, and government affairs developments across assigned regions or sectors. • Develop and maintain relationships with government officials, policymakers, regulators, industry associations, and other key stakeholders. • Provide strategic advice to clients on policy, government relations, lobbying, regulatory developments, and stakeholder engagement. • Work directly with member companies and corporate stakeholders to identify policy concerns, regulatory challenges, market-access issues, and government-relations priorities. • Engage with corporate clients, member companies, industry associations, and business councils to understand policy priorities and translate business concerns into actionable government affairs and advocacy strategies. • Represent client or organizational interests in discussions with policymakers, government officials, regulators, trade associations, and other external stakeholders. • Synthesize input from corporate stakeholders and translate business priorities into policy recommendations, advocacy positions, and government engagement strategies. Preferred Background Candidates with experience in one or more of the following are strongly encouraged to apply: 1. Government affairs, government relations, lobbying, public affairs, or policy advocacy. 2. Chambers of commerce, business councils, trade associations, industry associations, or membership organizations representing corporate interests. 3. Political consulting, government affairs consulting, policy consulting, or strategic advisory firms. 4. Government agencies, ministries, regulatory authorities, legislative bodies, or other public-sector institutions. 5. Diplomatic services, embassies, international organizations, or multilateral institutions. 6. Think tanks, research institutes, or organizations focused on international policy and political affairs. 7. Industry associations, chambers of commerce, business councils, trade associations, or organizations representing corporate members and engaging with governments and policymakers. 8. Candidates with experience in government affairs, international affairs, lobbying, trade associations, chambers of commerce, business councils, corporate government relations, or policy advocacy are strongly encouraged to apply. Qualifications • Proven experience in policy, government affairs, government relations, lobbying, international affairs, political consulting, regulatory affairs, or a related field. • 2+ years of relevant professional experience in policy, government affairs, government relations, lobbying, international affairs, regulatory affairs, business associations, trade associations, or related fields. • Strong understanding of political, legislative, regulatory, and government decision-making processes. • Ability to analyze policy and regulatory developments and translate them into clear strategic recommendations. • Experience working directly with corporate stakeholders, member companies, industry associations, or business councils is strongly preferred. • Demonstrated experience developing advocacy strategies, policy submissions, stakeholder engagement plans, or government relations initiatives. • Demonstrated ability to engage professionally with senior government officials, policymakers, regulators, legislative staff, business executives, and industry representatives. • Strong research, analytical, writing, and communication skills. • Ability to prepare high-quality policy briefs, reports, presentations, briefing materials, and advocacy documents. • Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines. • Academic or professional background in public policy, political science, international relations, economics, law, government, or a related field. • Regional or sector-specific expertise and established government or stakeholder networks are an advantage.
