Job Title: Fullstack Vue JS ArchitectLocation: San Francisco, CA (100% Remote)Duration: Longterm ContractAnalyzes, designs, programs, debugs, and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked or Internet-related computer programs. Using current programming language and technologies writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications. Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.Specific Responsibilities:Gathers and verifies technical requirementsAuthors and audits technical design for featuresCompetent in programming and debugging across multiple modules and dealing with related external dependenciesWrites high-quality code with full test coverageReviews code to ensure it is functionally correct and is of high qualityProvides story or business requirements breakdown planning and estimation, reviews and evaluates the team's estimatesAccountable for complex stories or business requirementsIdentifies feature and module dependenciesProposes mitigation plans for identified risks and problemsSuggests process improvements and best practicesIdentifies new areas that could be measuredAble to identify, evaluate and discuss alternative technologies and techniquesJustifies decisions and achieves peer consentInteracts with team members, other IT teams, business users, individual contributors, managersA sphere of influence is a small group of peersRequired Qualifications:Direct experience developing scalable web applications with modern JS frameworks (Vue, React, Angular, web components) and tools (Webpack, etc.)Good understanding of large-scale NodeJs, Vue.JS platform developmentComfortable working on server-side and/or deeply collaborating with backend teamsStrong command of cross-browser compatibility issues, rendering differences, and progressive enhancement strategiesWorking knowledge of web performance and optimization techniquesGood web security knowledge (Cross-Site Scripting, SQL Injection, Input Validation)Well versed with unit testing & debugging techniques, particularly with front-end code using testing libraries such as JestPossess an understanding of web accessibility standards and techniques to deliver experiences to meet the needs of all customersNice to Have Technical Competencies:Experience writing Web Components/Custom ElementsKnowledge of templating libraries such as lit-HTMLExperience migrating applications to Micro Front End stack
