IT Systems Engineer II

This is a full-time on-site role for an IT Systems Engineer II located in Plano, TX. This person will be responsible for assisting in designing and managing multiple M365 environments and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability. This role will also provide tier 2 & 3 technical support to both local and remote employees in a rapidly growing environment.Day-to-day tasks include technical support and troubleshooting in a multitude of software packages including Azure, Entra, Intune, Exchange, Adobe, FileVine, Business Central etc, contributing to the design, documentation and implementation of new changes and features within our tenants.Key Responsibilities·      Provide all tier 2-3 helpdesk support for users across hardware, software, and network issues.·      Participate in a team-based on-call rotation to support system availability·      Administer and manage Microsoft 365 / Office 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra ID/Azure AD).·      Manage user accounts, permissions, licensing, and security policies.·      Support Windows workstations, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.·      Troubleshoot email, authentication, and collaboration platform issues.·      Work with ticketing systems and IT management tools.·      Assist with endpoint management, patching, and device compliance.·      Maintain documentation surrounding support and IT operations.Required Skills·      Minimum 7+ years of professional IT experience.·      Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.·      Analytical with strong problem-solving skills and an attention to detail.·      Excellent oral and written communication skills.·      Experience managing SharePoint sites, permissions and administration.·      Experience with common IT support tools, RMM platforms, and ticketing systems. Strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to quickly diagnose and resolve system-related issues.·      Experience with Intune policies and related features.·      Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPN, TCP/IP).·      Strong knowledge of Microsoft cloud environments including Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Exchange administration.·      Some PowerShell Scripting experience.Additional qualifications·      Microsoft or CompTIA certifications a plus·      Experience with Azure virtualization a plusOur ever-growing company is dedicated to fostering innovation, excellence, and providing a supportive work environment.
