Inventory Control Specialist (3-6 Month Contract)

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to support a comprehensive warehouse cycle count initiative. This 6-month contract role will focus on improving inventory accuracy, reconciling discrepancies, and strengthening inventory control processes across the facility. Key Responsibilities Inventory Counting: Perform cycle counts of materials Data Entry: Update inventory records in the system, ensuring accuracy between physical stock and system records Warehouse Maintenance: Ensure materials are in the proper, designated locations. Engage in product movement to reorganize items more efficiently. Movement of Materials: As directed move materials to consolidate locations, move materials to make picking and put-away more efficient. Move excess and obsolete materials to designated locations and movement to organize by category. Safety & Equipment: Operate forklifts and cherry pickers, following all safety protocols. Qualifications & Experience Experience: Previous warehouse and inventory control experience (2+ years). Skills: High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with inventory software (WMS) and handheld scanners SAP and excel a plus. Physical Ability: Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds and be on your feet for 8 hours a day. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to stand/walk for long periods, as well as stoop, kneel, or crouch. High attention to detail.
