Location No Response Department School, Community and Workforce Training Programs Days and Hours September - April, Monday - Thursday in the evening Requisition Number Position Goals Job Description Plan, prepare, and deliver approved curriculum on a daily basis. Evaluate and assist in the resolution of student concerns. Prepare lesson plans. Track student grades and attendance. Lead, inspire, motivate, and advise students to actively participate in all aspects of their educational process. Maintain expertise in the subject area. Provide regular, accurate and timely feedback to students and the school concerning academics, behavior, attendance, etc. This position holds responsibility for the success of the Electrical Apprentice program. It requires that a professional attitude be modeled as well as taught and that students are given the knowledge, skill and ability to serve the community as a professional electrician. Instructors provide assessment of students through applicable monitoring and reporting processes. Minimum Qualifications Must have actively performed work on electrical systems in the construction, repair or design as they pertain to the residential, commercial or industrial industry for a minimum of five (5) years. Extensive knowledge and understanding of the National Electrical Code. Two years teaching experience preferred. Journeyman level of certification preferred.
