Senior WPF/.NET Developer

Title: Senior WPF/.NET DeveloperLocation: Hybrid in NYC or Jersey City (3 days onsite 2 days remote)They need someone who is really strong with WPF development on the UI side and then C#/.NET on the backend. This role can sit in NYC or Jersey City, NJ. Please send local candidates only because there is an onsite interview in NYC.The AMRS Regional Lead of Pricing & Quoting Technology will oversee the strategic direction, governance, and delivery of the implementation of our global equity derivatives pricing platform. This includes leadership of the pricing architecture, roadmap execution, and the end-to-end request-for-quote (RFQ) workflow used by Sales and Trading, along with connectivity to external market platforms.This role ensures regional alignment with global strategy while shaping local innovation, ensuring resilience, scalability, and competitive advantage in electronic and voice-driven derivatives trading.The hiring manager is specifically looking for a front-office UI technologist with hands-on experience working on thick-client .NET applications , refactoring complex UI codebases with TDD/BDD , and applying strong design principles.Strategic & Regional LeadershipProvides regional leadership with a strong international orientation, reporting into the Global Head (London-Based) to ensure cohesive regional-global integration.Define and drive the regional technology strategy for pricing, quoting, and RFQ workflow, ensuring alignment to global target architecture and business priorities.Partner with senior stakeholders across Trading, Sales, Quant, Risk, and global technology leads to shape requirements, influence design decisions, and deliver regional business outcomes.Delivery & Execution Oversight Demonstrates strong technical leadership through active participation in hands-on software development, contributing high-quality code to critical pricing and quoting initiatives.Ensures architectural decisions and technical standards are grounded in practical engineering expertise, reinforced through direct involvement in solution design and implementation.Balances strategic leadership with day-to-day technical execution, providing credible guidance to senior engineers by engaging directly in complex development tasks.Technical Expertise Minimum 6 years' hands-on development or technical leadership experience with C#/.NETWPF/WinForms experience for frontend/UI desktop workCross-language proficiency (Typescript, React, Python preferred) enabling effective leadership of multi-technology environments.Deep understanding of design patterns, best practices, dependency injection frameworks, and enterprise architecture patterns.Strong background in messaging systems, n-tier architecture, and high-performance distributed applications.Domain Knowledge (not required, but big plus) Solid understanding of equity derivatives products, pricing workflows, and trade lifecycle processes.Proven experience working closely with front-office users, capturing and translating complex trading requirements into scalable technical solutions.
