Concession Stand AttendantCity of Wheeling - WHEELING, WV 26003DescriptionConcessions Stand AttendantSummary: Part TimeThe Concessions Attendant is responsible for maintaining operations and assisting customers at the concessions stand. This position assists in setting the example and ensuring the highest level of guest experience in concessions and reports to the Concessions Manager.Basic Function and Responsibilities:Ability to provide excellent guest service while working in a very fast-paced environmentServe food and beverages to customers in a very fast-paced environmentProper cash handling including, greeting and service guests at the registers, taking orders, and accepting payments, handling cash, debit, and credit cards.Replenish foods at serving stationsPrepare food using standard formulas or following directions.Prepare bills for food, using cash registers, calculators, or adding machines; and accept payment and make changeScrub and polish counters, steam tables, and other equipment, and clean dishes and fountain equipmentInventory control: Assess inventory and assist in preparing product orders as necessaryStock and restock items as necessaryEnsure all sanitation procedures are followed relating to all local licensing regulationsQualificationsBasic Requirements/Qualifications:Must be 15 years of age or olderMust utilize customer service skills to meet the needs of the guests with a positive attitudeMust be able to multi-task and be self-motivatedMust be able to communicate clearly and congenially with patronsPossesses excellent cash handling skills and knowledge of daily sales reportingAdherence to a uniform policy and grooming standardsQualified candidate will be a mature, responsible, dependable individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environmentMust satisfactorily fulfill all departmental training requirementsAdhere to all Wheeling Parks & Rec Dept policiesMust be able to lift-up to 50 lbs.Standing, stooping, and bending for long periods of timeMust be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.
