You would be working with friendly, like-minded peers who are passionate about improving cancer care. We are an ego-free environment and are laser focused on our mission of helping oncologists deliver the best care to their patients. theMednet office is located in New York City, but this role can be filled remotely. One day out of the week may be used for direct patient care. The physicians at theMednet maintain their faculty appointments and clinical practices 1 day/week.The Oncology Director will head content, engagement, and expansion of our oncology sections and oversee our multidisciplinary virtual tumor board program and ASCO & ASTRO Journal Club programs. He or she will establish relationships with oncologists all over the country, establish new educational initiatives, provide editorial oversight, and oversee expansion into further oncology related subspecialties.RESPONSIBILITIESManage a team of physician editors in Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Hematology, Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, and Gynecologic Oncology, under the guidance of the Senior Medical Director of OncologyLaunch and manage Palliative Medicine specialtyOversee content, engagement, and growth in oncology specialtiesWork with product team to give input on new products and improving products offered to physicians on theMednetGrow relationships with oncology professional societies and academic programsREQUIREMENTSCandidates must possess an MD or DO degree and be based in the United StatesPassion for improving the quality of cancer care on a large scaleExcellent writing and communicationPossess exceptional attention to detail and accuracyAbility to think critically and creatively to develop and optimize efficient workflowsBoard certified or board eligible in your specialtyBroad knowledge base of solid and hematologic malignancies and hematologyOutgoing, friendly, and creative personality.Maintain part time clinical practice (1 day/week)#J-18808-Ljbffr
