TekPro is partnered with a leading precision component manufacturer to identify a Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer who can take ownership of complex machining processes and drive efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement across the shop floor. This is a high-impact role working closely with engineering, production, and customers to bring new parts from concept to production while optimizing existing processes.What You’ll Be DoingDevelop and implement efficient manufacturing processes for new and existing componentsReview customer prints, specifications, and requirements to determine optimal production methodsBuild and maintain BOMs, routings, and item data within the ERP systemLead contract reviews for new work and coordinate material and technical requirements with purchasingDesign and improve tooling, fixtures, and workholding solutions to support production and quality goalsCollaborate with production teams to troubleshoot machining challenges and improve process flowInterface directly with customers to clarify technical details and suggest design or manufacturability improvementsSupport estimating efforts by evaluating prints, tolerances, and process considerationsEnsure proper flow-down of customer, internal, and regulatory requirements to vendorsParticipate in corrective actions and continuous improvement initiativesMaintain process documentation, including work instructions and process drawingsWhat We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience in manufacturing process engineering5+ years in CNC machining, fabrication, or similar precision manufacturing environmentStrong experience with CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam, NX (Unigraphics), SolidWorks, or similarAbility to interpret detailed engineering drawings and apply GD&T principlesProven experience designing fixturing and selecting tooling for complex partsStrong problem-solving skills related to machining strategy, tooling, and workholdingAbility to sequence operations to balance quality, efficiency, and costComfortable working cross-functionally with production, quality, customers, and suppliersWhat Sets You ApartHands-on mindset with the ability to move from concept to executionStrong communication skills when working with both internal teams and external customersContinuous improvement mentality with a focus on process optimization and quality systems (QMS)
