CNC Lathe Setup/Operator

Job Description Lathe Set-Up/Operator: 5 years minimum experience setting up This is not an entry level position, this for someone that has setup skills and understanding of machine application. You must know basic M and G codes and be able to make edits at the machine (we program offline, but you will be responsible for minor adjustments). Requirements: Owns tools/Gages (calipers, micrometers, indicators, wrenches, etc.. basic tools to successfully setup and operate machines)If you do not have tools you will be required to purchase thru companyUnderstanding of feeds and speeds Understanding of M and G code Ability to bore Jaws/collets(if you do not know how to bore jaws/collets manually do not apply) Ability to do first piece run-off and monitor quality through run ​ Work Saturday 6am to noon Preferred (but not required) Mill Turn knowledge “live tooling”Samsung SL25ASY Doosan 2600SY DN SMX2600 Miyano BNA DHY Miyano LZ Citizen A20Bar feeder Experience Benefits: Holiday Vacation Medical 401K Compensation based on experience ($28-$35/hour) and will be re-evaluated after 90 days.
