Barista

Summary Hello Darling/Flora is seeking an experienced barista to join our growing team! As a barista with Hello Darling/Flora you will be responsible for crafting quality coffee drinks and providing best in class hospitality. We strike a balance between efficient high volume service and personally curated guest experience.  The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in third wave coffee with expertise in dialing espresso, milk texturing, and latte art. You thrive in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing attention to detail and have a positive, engaging, and energetic personality. You have a passion for intuitive hospitality and genuine care for the work you do.  Key Responsibilities Welcome every guest warmly into our space Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, espresso, cappuccino, and specialty tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.  Promote and maintain the highest level of customer service to all guests Provide detailed information about the coffee and tea offerings, answering questions and making recommendations as needed Maintain a clean and organized space throughout your shift Periodically record inventory  Prepare teas, syrups, and assemble snacks as needed Contribute to a collaborative and supportive work environment Required Qualifications Hospitality-first work ethic 2+ years of experience with third wave coffee  Experience with high volume food & beverage service Weekend and early morning availability (Either Friday & Saturday or Saturday & Sunday needed) Enjoy a fast paced work environment, maintaining calm under pressure Able to be organized, manage time wisely and work with little to no direct supervision.
