Full Stack Developer,Python
About the Role:
We are seeking a Full Stack Developer with strong Python backend development and React frontend experience for a long-term contract opportunity in the insurance and financial services domain. The ideal candidate will have experience building web portals from the ground up, from initial design and architecture through development and deployment. This role requires someone who can explain the design decisions, development approach, and technical implementation of a portal, rather than only contributing to an existing application. You will work across the frontend and backend, using Python and React to develop application functionality, with exposure to CI/CD processes, AWS database technologies, and native AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
•Design and develop web applications and portals using Python and React.•Build solutions from scratch, contributing to the initial design, technical planning, development, and implementation.•Develop backend services and application logic using Python.•Build responsive frontend interfaces and user-facing features using React.•Explain the portal design process, architecture, development approach, and key technical decisions.•Work with AWS database technologies to support application data storage and access.•Use CI/CD pipelines and practices to support application integration, testing, and deployment.•Explore and integrate native AI capabilities where relevant to the application requirements.•Collaborate with stakeholders and technical team members to understand requirements and deliver suitable solutions.•Support application improvements, troubleshooting, and ongoing development throughout the contract.
Required Skills and Experience:
•Strong hands-on experience with Python development.•Practical experience developing frontend applications using React.•Full Stack Development experience covering both backend and frontend technologies.•Experience building web portals or applications from scratch.•Ability to clearly explain design decisions, application architecture, and the development lifecycle.•Familiarity with CI/CD processes.•Experience with AWS database technologies.•Knowledge of native AI technologies or AI integration.•Understanding of application development practices and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
