Manufacturing Technician
Manufacturing Technician Lean SupportOur client, a growing manufacturer in the power and data center infrastructure space, is seeking a Manufacturing Technician Lean Support to assist with production optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.This role focuses on supporting Process and Manufacturing Engineering teams through data collection, time studies, and documentation, helping drive improvements in efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct time studies, cycle time validation, and labor analysisCollect and track downtime, rework, and productivity dataOrganize data to support root cause analysis and process improvementsAssist with line balancing and takt time validationIdentify and document inefficiencies and waste on the production floorEscalate findings to engineering teams for corrective actionSupport 5S initiatives and lean manufacturing effortsParticipate in root cause analysis and corrective action processesContribute to improving safety, efficiency, and first pass yieldUpdate SOPs, standardized work instructions, and process documentationAssist with maintaining training records and skills matricesDevelop process sheets and visual documentation for productionQualificationsHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience12 years of experience in a manufacturing or technical environmentBasic understanding of manufacturing processes and equipmentAbility to read mechanical and electrical drawingsSkills & ToolsStrong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processesExperience with process documentation and assembly layoutsProficiency in Microsoft Excel (including tracking tools; macros a plus)Familiarity with ERP systems and AutoCAD preferredExperience with UL standards (UL508A, UL67, UL891) is a strong plusCompensation & Benefits$70,000 $85,000 base salary (Some Flexibility)Full benefits package (medical, dental, vision, etc.)Opportunities for growth within manufacturing and engineering teamsWhy This RoleHands-on exposure to lean manufacturing and process improvementOpportunity to work closely with engineering teams on real-world production challengesStrong growth potential in a high-demand industry (power / data center infrastructure)
