Retail Group Lead

PURPOSE OF THE JOB This position will lead the Retail Branch network to drive growth, consistency and effective sales execution of Consumer and Commercial products offered by Home Bank. The position will be responsible for proactively identifying and making recommendations to the Retail Manager on methods to close performance gaps, with a focus on behaviors that drive results. The Retail Group Lead will report directly to the Retail Manager and with supervisory function; therefore, this individual must possess strong communication and plan to execution skills to drive intended results.MAIN DUTIES OF THE JOBDriving daily sales process, leading teams to achieve sales targets, acquiring new consumer and business customers, initiating referrals to partners, and deepening all existing customer relationshipsEnsure consistent execution of standard sales process across the branch network.Provide feedback to Retail Manager on Branch Management, sales and service coaching plans and coaching routine.Support development and execution of plans to achieve operational risk and management goals.Coordinate and conduct Retail Banking meetings and conference calls.Ensure regular knowledge sharing occurs among the branch network.Communicate a clear vision for retail business banking that is aligned with Home Bank's overall vision, values, and goals, inspires, and engages people to create an inclusive, high performing, customer-centered culture.Close sales and service performance gaps while designing support tools for market implementation.Highly motivated to make internal branch visits and profess the company sales cultureConduct rollout and adoption of new sales tools and service processes.Motivate and counsel staff; develop team member goals and objectives that provide growth opportunities; monitor employee performance and take corrective action as needed in a timely fashion.Ensure branch operate sound and exposes the banking center to minimal risk by following all compliance and regulation rulesKnowledgeable of changes in the banking industry and banking technologyEnsure regular knowledge sharing occurs among the branch networkStrong knowledge of goals/budget analysis and ability to recommend solutions for improvement.Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and instruct others, train personnel, write reports, correspondence, and procedures, speak clearly to customers and employees.Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and adapt to change and meet deadlines.Design or recommend modifications, execute, and manage the retail bank incentive planAct as a subject matter expert on goals, reporting, sales interactions, and coachingExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills including ability to diagnose, resolve or escalate a critical situation.Ability to provide local support of ongoing initiatives, sales contests, product launches, marketing campaigns and in branch marketing serving as a single point of contact.Ability to communicate well with internal partners and departments to achieve common goals.Lead, develop and motivate to attract, retain, and develop the capability and talent to ensure delivery of business objectivities.Capture and share feedback with management team to enhance performance of both the branch and marketAbility to lead and develop a cohesive team through mentoring, delegating and cross training while experiencing change and growth in the workload and areas of responsibility.Self-directed/motivated with the ability work independently with little to no direct supervision.WHAT WILL YOU NEED TO SUCCEEDBachelor's degree in business, finance, related field, or the equivalent job experience preferredFive years of work-related experience in banking or financial services fieldSales and marketing experience preferredHOME BANK IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYERGOOD CREDIT IS A MUST
