Assembler

Job Description We are seeking an Assembler to become an integral part of our team! In this role, you will perform both electronic and mechanical assembly tasks, including wire cutting, labeling, and hand soldering, while identifying ways to improve efficiency. This position reports to a direct supervisor and offers the potential to grow from part-time to full-time employment, with no travel required.Responsibilities Perform electronic and mechanical assembly tasks Cut, strip, crimp, and label wire assemblies Hand solder electronic components to PCBs Assemble, install, repair, and maintain electronic/mechanical components and systems Assist with shipping, receiving, and packaging Operate power and manual tools safely according to regulations Perform sub-assembly and full assembly builds to meet production requirements Maintain personal workspace and surrounding area cleanliness Meet or exceed quality and production quantity standardsRequired Qualifications Experience or strong desire to learn manufacturing or assembly work Familiarity with assembly tools and equipment Ability to handle physical workload Ability to work effectively in teams Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environmentPreferred Qualifications Entry-level assembly experience Proficiency in hand soldering Skill in wire cutting and stripping Experience using power and manual tools Strong teamwork and collaboration skills Physical stamina and attention to detail Company DescriptionDaburn operates through seven distinct divisions, including Daburn Wire & Cable (wire and cable manufacturing and wholesaling), Polytron (power supplies), EMSE (medical air and vacuum systems), SICO & Novotics (electrical control systems), Precise Circuits (custom electronic assemblies) and Piping Solutions (custom process piping skids).
