Retail Premium Sales Staff (part-time)

A MUST READ BEFORE APPLYING: JAMIN LEATHER LLC is a long standing business in Myrtle Beach, SC selling retail leather apparel and accessories in their store and online. We are in need of a self-sufficient staff to work 18-32 hours each week. Someone that is personable, understands the customer, has a good eye for displays, has the ability to sell, has a positive personality, must be able to type, must be computer literate, must have good phone skills, must be able to carry a 50 pound box, can count cash without a phone or computer, a quick learner, and a desire to satisfy all customer needs to the best of their ability. Must not have physical limitations to prevent carrying boxes, using ladders, handling heavy stock or fixing display. Will be required to handle all aspects of retail and mail order including but not limited to restocking, pricing, displaying, picking mail orders, shipping, trash removal, answering customer service calls, etc. (we can tell if you didn't read this and will not be considering your application) Duties: - Provide exceptional customer service - Day-to-day operations of the retail store and mail-order - Measuring all products for proper sizing (mail-order) - Assistance in implementing strategies that drive sales - Manage inventory through receiving, restocking, and counting - Excel data entry - Implement visual merchandising that attract customers - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety concerns. Qualifications: - Understanding inventory control principles - Exceptional customer service skills in difficult situations - Proficient in upselling and cross-selling - Motivated to fix inventory, displays and customer requests - Excellent leadership skills - Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs - Interest and familiarity in the product is helpful. - Accounting & Bookkeeping experience helpful - Social media marketing knowledge is helpful - Retail management helpful.
