Details Combined PCU and Med-Surg unit with expectation to float between the two Primary patient population is neurological, with overflow patients from other units EMU (Epilepsy Monitoring Unit) training required for monitoring and interviewing of epilepsy patients Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:3–5 depending on acuity Epic EMR experience required Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30 Requirements Active KY or compact RN license with no licensure hits Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS Prior PCU or progressive care nursing experience required Experience with Epic EMR required EMU monitoring and patient interviewing experience required Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible 2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration Additional Information Provide progressive care nursing to primarily neurological patients, with overflow from Med-Surg Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 6 months before being eligible to return as a traveler All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of profile submission — RTO requests made after submission will not be approved American Traveler Job ID P-687995.
