The BHT will support licensed staff in providing safe and therapeutic patient care as delegated, in adherence to policies and procedures.This is an entry-level patient care, nursing assistant role focused on cleaning, assisting with showers, patient rounds, and observation. No therapy or case management will be performed in this role.Shift Schedule: Day Shift and Noc ShiftDuties and Qualifications:Current BLS for Healthcare Providers card requiredAssists licensed staff in the provision of patient care according to individual treatment plansObserves and monitors patients’ progress and reports observations to the appropriate staffAssists patients with activities of daily livingProvides staff with relief coverage for break periods by supervising patients or answering telephones as neededRemains flexible and adapts to changes in assignments or priorities to provide the most effective support for patientsHigh school diploma or G.E.D. required; minimum one year of experience in an acute psychiatric inpatient setting preferredCPI certification required within 30 days of hireIf you are passionate about making a difference and seeking a supportive team environment to grow your skills, we welcome your application.Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for CMC Phoenix roles, including but not limited to shift differential and other special pay practices. The posted compensation for the position is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay that CMC Phoenix in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
