Cardiothoracic Surgery Locums Job Eastern Florida Coast Seeking Call Coverage on June 6 - 12 AM Jackson and Coker is partnering with a facility on Florida s eastern coast seeking Cardiothoracic Surgery call coverage beginning in early June and continuing on an ongoing basis. The client anticipates intermittent week-long needs as well as a minimum of one weekend per month. You ll be joining a well-supported Heart Program that prioritizes work-life balance, ensures adequate staffing, and offers surgeons meaningful time off. Providers will also receive first right of refusal for future and ongoing coverage opportunities. Dates of coverage: Seeking coverage starting on Friday, June 5 at 7AM through Friday, June 12 at 7AM (orientation/training on Thursday, June 4) Seeking ongoing Friday at 7AM - Monday at 7AM weekend coverage in July & ongoing Emergency Privs Requirements: Must be able to provide two leadership references and one peer reference from the last 24 months (CMO, Chief of Staff, Medical Staff president, Surgery/ENT Dept. Chair, Cred. committee chair, etc.) Must be able to provide up to date case logs Must have a clean background / no criminal history Details/Requirements for Assignment : Active Florida license + current DEA required Seeking currently Board Certified Cardiothoracic Surgeons CT Surgery only, no vascular required/needed for this role Inpatient call coverage will be for ED patients + at times, attached patients; Will be expected to round, see new consults + do emergent procedures Will have APP inpatient support that serve as 1st assist and do EVH Clinic has two CT Surgery APPs Facility is a designated level 2 trauma center has full trauma support staff Patient vo
