The Locksmithing Assistant will support locksmiths by preparing tools, maintaining equipment, and assisting in installing, repairing, and replacing locks and security systems. Additional responsibilities include managing inventory, key duplication, and addressing client inquiries and requests. This role requires strong technical and organizational skills to ensure timely and high-quality service.QualificationsTechnical skills in working with locks, keys, and basic security system componentsManual dexterity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skillsStrong organizational abilities, inventory management, and time management skillsEffective communication and customer service skillsBasic understanding of safety protocols and workplace standardsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPrevious experience in locksmithing or a related field is beneficial but not requiredHigh school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in locksmithing is a plusValid driver’s license and the ability to travel locally as needed
