Senior Accountant

We are currently partnering with a growing healthcare organization in the North Bergen area on a Senior Accountant opportunity reporting directly to the Controller. Key Responsibilities: • Own month-end close activities, including general ledger and reconciliations • Prepare and analyze financial statements and ensure accuracy in reporting • Ensure proper revenue recognition in accordance with GAAP • Conduct account reconciliations to maintain financial integrity • Prepare and analyze key financial metrics and revenue trends • Present monthly financial analysis to business leadership and collaborate on forward-looking expectations • Review and interpret insurance carrier data, including contracts, commissions, and policy activity • Partner with other departments to resolve accounting issues and improve financial processes • Support forecasting, budgeting, and ad hoc financial projects • Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements across accounting functions xywuqvp Qualifications: • 5+ years of total accounting experience • 2+ years with a Top 10 public accounting firm (preferred) plus private sector/corporate accounting experience • Strong Excel skills (advanced proficiency required) • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting • Bright, driven, curious professional looking to grow within the organization
