Senior System Administrator, internally known as Senior Analyst, Information Workplace Services, collaborates with a diverse team to support exciting, critical programs with classified information system capabilities. Success in this role means you can develop, implement, and maintain secure, cost‐efficient environments across various classified programs. Program teams rely on your collaboration and guidance to define computing requirements and create end‐to‐end solutions to solve complex IT infrastructure problems. Location: El Segundo, CA. This position is 100% onsite. To qualify for this role, applicants must have an active and transferable U.S. government‐issued Top Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship. What You Will Do Linux architecture, deployment, administration, networking, performance monitoring/tuning, security hardening, and troubleshooting. Integrated AD authentication (Kerberos, LDAP and/or Centrify). SMTP, DHCP, DNS, NIS, LDAP, CIFS, NFS, Samba and *NIX system security. Infrastructure backup, restore, disaster recovery, and business continuity products (e.g., Symantec NetBackup). Security infrastructure products and capabilities (e.g., Antivirus). Gathering requirements, designing, and implementing appropriate solutions. Application installation and multi‐server environment deployment. IT incident/service request system. HP server hardware support and diagnosis. HP storage hardware support and diagnosis. Qualifications University degree or equivalent experience and at least 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3 years of relevant experience. Active and transferable Top Secret security clearance required before start date. U.S. citizenship required. Experience supporting Linux operating systems. Experience with Active Directory, VMware, backup and recovery. Must obtain DoDD 8140 / 8570 certification (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent) within 6 months of start date. We Prefer Experience with VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter, etc.). Experience with HP MSA storage and RAID configuration. Experience with Windows Servers, Active Directory, and Group Policy. Experience with domain controllers, global catalogs, DNS, and DHCP. Experience with infrastructure backup, restore, disaster recovery, and business continuity. Familiarity with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS, and DoD/RMF. Experience with NAS and SAN technologies. Information technology project lifecycle management. Experience with vCenter, vSphere, and ESX or other virtualization methods. Experience with Microsoft WSUS, MECM, and/or Exchange. Scripting experience.
