With a team of experienced professionals, PDG offers Development Management, Project Management, and Construction Management services.About the opportunitiesWe are currently seeking highly motivated and talented Junior Land Development Managers to support projects in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.Junior Land Development Managers are responsible for supporting Senior Managers with overseeing all project phases from due diligence and entitlement through construction and closeout, ensuring compliance with local jurisdictional requirements, budget constraints, schedules, and quality standards. Ideal candidates have exposure to civil or geotechnical aspects of development, navigating permitting agencies, coordinating multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced development environment, and familiarity with Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) inspections, stormwater management facility Best Management Practices (BMPs) observations, installation, and inspections.QualificationsRequired:Bachelor’s degree or related field experienceFamiliarity with Maryland land development regulations and processesExperience coordinating with contractors, design consultants, and permitting agenciesStrong communication and organizational skillsU.S. CitizenshipPreferred:CCM certificationExperience with mixed-use, residential, commercial, or data center developmentsExperience with civil or geotechnical aspects of land development projectsFamiliarity with Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) stormwater and erosion and sediment (E&S) requirementsFamiliarity with Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) inspections, stormwater management facility Best Management Practices (BMPs) observations, installation, and inspectionsBackground working with Departments of TransportationProficiency with project management software (Procore, MS Project, or similar) Work Environment & TravelCombination of office and field workFrequent travel to project sites throughout the Washington, DC metropolitan regionOccasional evening meetings with jurisdictions or community stakeholdersWhat We OfferCompetitive Compensation, Commensurate with Experience (full-time W-2, or hourly 1099)Full-time W-2 employees are also offered:Potential for Performance BonusPDG Retirement Savings Contribution/401KHealth & Dental InsurancePotomac Development Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Interested in also exploring future opportunities at PDG?
