Title: React DeveloperContract Type: ContractLocation: Chicago, IL (60604)OverviewOur client is seeking a React Developer on a contract basis to support the development and enhancement of modern web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong front-end development experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will also have hands-on experience with web application and a strong understanding of user authentication and use of tokens.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain web applications using React.Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces.Integrate front-end components with APIs and backend services.Troubleshoot and resolve application issues.Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams.Requirements5+ years of experience with React development.Hands-on experience with web application securityStrong understanding of user authentication, authorization, and token-based security mechanisms (e.g., JWT, OAuth, OpenID Connect).Strong JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS skills.Experience consuming REST APIs.Familiarity with Git and Agile development environments.Strong communication and problem-solving skills.PreferredExperience with Next.js.Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
