Sales Director Job Description Overview: Seeking competitive, dynamic, and ambitious leader to head up our sales efforts in the Nevada market. Sales Director is responsible for building and coaching high performing sales teams and achieving sales goals for each market they are assigned to. Create Spaces is a stable company and has been in the Nevada market since 1950. With new ownership we are looking to take the company to new heights and achieve market dominance. Develop a High Performing Sales Team Recruit, interview, and hire new salespeople Train and retain top performing salespeople Mentor, coach, and manage team members Lead the team in sales meetings Motivate and inspire sales force Hold team members accountable to sales goals, processes, and company values Train team members how to prospect, present, and close deals Learn and Implement our “Discover, Design, Deliver” process Become an expert in our sales and implementation process—Discover, Design, Deliver Gain expert knowledge in using all our software tools including Smartsheets, Insightly, Hedberg, Zoominfo, and Microsoft Office 365. Train and hold team members accountable to using our process and tools Work with other department leaders to improve the process and solve problems so we can achieve our company mission of Exceptional Spaces—On time, On budget Business Development Lead efforts for business development in all markets Find, develop, and distribute leads to sales team members Train team members how to do business development Manage team participation in industry-specific and approved networking groups Work with our Marketing department to cultivate strategic relationships with key Architecture and Design (A&D), Commercial Real Estate firms (CRE), and General Contractors (GC) Achieve company goals in achieving new business from key sectors including corporate, healthcare, education, hospitality, and government Develop a list of 40 key strategic competitive accounts for each market and make sure we have a strategy for winning that account Develop and implement strategies to become the market share leader for every market Lead out on relationships with C-Suite at target accounts Plan, Present and Win Become expert level in responding to and winning bids and competitive opportunities Win the majority of RFPs and competitive bids in each market Lead the team in creating winning bid response strategies Become a confident, dynamic, and influential presenter Vendor Alignment and Management Understand and implement vendor alignment strategies as determined by leadership Learn product lines and meet key reps and manufacture personnel of top 10 key vendors Meet with Steelcase monthly and constantly improve our relationship with this key vendor Salary and Benefits Competitive Salary DOE Bonus Health Insurance 401K Training PTO and Paid Vacation Days Schedule This is a full-time, in-person position working in our Las Vegas office. Daily working hours are 8am – 5 pm Monday-Friday with a one-hour break for lunch.
