Financial Analyst - COLUMBIA Construction

The Program Finance department serves as a critical business partner by providing analysis, insight, and guidance to enable strategic program decisions and achieving bottom-line results.This position, located at the Quonset Point, RI Facility, supports the COLUMBIA Construction Program Finance team.Responsibilities Include Performance measurement and variance analysis; including Cost Account Plans Communication with Cost Account Managers and department Directors Create and update daily, weekly, and monthly reports Estimate at Complete development Budget development and maintenance Preparation of cost reports to support both internal and external customers Manpower Plan and Operating Plan development Shop order control Preparation of billing instructions for submittal to Cash Management Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or Mathematics Preferred 2+ years of related experience Prior Electric Boat employment or internship Experience with Earned Value Management Experience with Power BI Skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas) and PowerPoint Must be interested in and capable of analyzing large sets of data with minimal supervision Analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with all levels of management Ability to work collaboratively with others
