Shipping & Receiving Clerk IPosition SummaryUnder the direction of the Materials Manager, receives incoming products and materials and processes outgoing shipments of products and materials as needed. Refers questions and problems to pertinent departments for action. Follows detailed instructions and reports any deviation to manager. The role requires the above to be accomplished within Tecomet’s principles of continuous improvement, customer driven innovation and a win first culture, while meeting company financial and other performance metrics.Principle ResponsibilitiesFollows existing policies, practices, and procedures.Packages, crates, bundles, prepares product for shipment.Receives goods based on proper paperwork.Utilizes judgment in rejecting receipt of potentially damaged good.Takes ownership when counting inventory for finished goods and sub-assemblies. Utilizes ERP as system of record.Administers issue/issue return of kits.Run daily backlog report from ERP system.Coordinate and manage delivery driver and delivery scheduleCoordinate point of use stagingProcurement of all items as requiredMaintain a clean work area - daily shift cleaning.May be required to be flexible with work schedule.Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned by supervisor.Credentials/ExperienceQualification RequirementsHigh School diploma or general education degree2+ years of shipping or receiving experienceKnowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesIdentifies and reports quality concerns.Willingly asks questions and seeks direction. Effectively gives and receives feedback.Identifies and reports quality concerns.Knows and follows all safety requirements.Good verbal communication skills with internal staff.
