Job Title: Web Back-End DeveloperLocation: Hill AFB, UTJob Type: Full-TimeOverview: Systems Implementers, Inc. (SI) is a contracted implementation consulting firm performingwork at Hill AFB in Utah. We are always looking for motivated, energetic people who want to learn andgrow with our business. The qualified applicant will become part of Systems Implementers softwaredevelopment team, to help maintain and develop APEX; an enterprise Web application that is used atHill AFB to support depot maintenance, repair and overhaul. The applicant will also have theopportunity to be mentored by an exceptional team of engineers with experience in a variety ofindustries. This is a full-time, on-site position. Remote work is not available, and developers arerequired to report to the designated work location during regular business hours.Key ResponsibilitiesWork with a team of 6-8 Software Engineers to: Maintain and develop code Perform peer code reviews to ensure adherence to standards Perform integration testing to ensure quality control Participate in database modeling and design activities Collaborate with Analysts and Subject Matter Experts Create and maintain technical documentation for application features, system integrations,database changes, and support procedures.Required Skills And Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or arelated field, or four additional years of relevant professional software-development experience 3+ years of relevant professional software-development experience Expertise in Java EE, specifically Spring Experience with Oracle or another enterprise relational database. Experience with micro-service infrastructure Experience troubleshooting skills and the ability to problem solve U.S. Citizen Ability to pass a DoD Background check Ability to work on-site at Hill Air Force BasePreferred QualificationsCandidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration: Experience working on Agile software development projects (i.e. using Sprint or Kanbanmethodologies) Experience designing data structures and/or user interfacesCertification in any of: CSSLP, CISSP, CASP, or Scrum MasterExperience With Any Of The Following Technologies - Spring MVC Angular JSON AJAX XML JPA/Hibernate Maven Eclipse Jira Tomcat / WebLogic SVN or Git Oracle SQL & PL/SQL
