*Job Summary* We are seeking a reliable and professional Driver Courier to support hospital logistics operations in Ocala, FL. The Driver Courier will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of mail, linens, medical records, biological specimens, pharmacy preparations, supplies, and other hospital-related materials. The position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and safe driving practices. *Responsibilities* * Drive a full-size van or small passenger van on assigned routes * Safely transport biological specimens, medical records, linens, mail, supplies, and pharmacy preparations * Maintain accurate daily truck logs and delivery documentation * Ensure the security, proper handling, and confidentiality of transported materials * Follow assigned schedules and complete deliveries in a timely manner * Maintain the cleanliness and proper condition of the assigned vehicle * Report vehicle maintenance issues, traffic tickets, accidents, or other concerns to management * Use barcode scanners, computers, fax machines, copiers, and other basic equipment as needed * Follow hospital safety procedures, PPE requirements, and hazardous material handling guidelines * Provide professional and respectful customer service when interacting with hospital personnel and other facilities *Qualifications* * Valid Florida Class E Driver's License * Driving record that meets hospital requirements * Ability to safely operate a full-size or small passenger van * Ability to communicate effectively with hospital personnel and customers * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail * Ability to work independently and follow established routes and procedures *Preferred Skills* * High school diploma or equivalent * Previous courier, delivery, or logistics experience * Familiarity with the Ocala and surrounding areas * Basic computer and equipment experience * Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices *Hiring Requirements* * Resume required * Valid Florida Class E Driver's License required * Driving record verification required * Background check required * Criminal check required * Drug test required Pay: $19.50 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Work Location: In person
