Overview Registered Nurse – Med Surg, travel assignment in Cumming, GA, starts 06/08/2026 for 13 weeks in a hospital setting. Key Highlights - Weekly pay: $1,574–$1,652 per week - Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week - Duration: 13 weeks - Start date: 06/08/2026 - Shift: 12-hour nights (2×3 schedule) - Setting: Inpatient surgical unit with orthopedic focus (32 private rooms) Responsibilities - Deliver direct patient care to adult medical-surgical patients, with emphasis on orthopedic postoperative populations. - Conduct initial and ongoing assessments, monitor vital signs, and respond promptly to clinical changes. - Administer medications and therapies, including IV medications, wound care, and pain management. - Assist with perioperative care, patient mobilization, wound care, and discharge planning in coordination with surgeons, case managers, and physical therapy. - Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record, adhere to infection prevention standards, and ensure safe medication administration and post-op protocols.
