Inside Sales Representative

JSW Steel is seeking to hire an Inside Sales Representative to join our team! The Inside Sales Representative plays a critical role in managing customer transactions, supporting order accuracy, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. This role collaborates closely with sales, production, engineering, quality, and leadership teams to deliver results while upholding safety standards and company CORE values. Key Responsibilities: Champion and model JSW Steel USA’s CORE Values and develop working knowledge of products and operational proceduresAccurately process customer transactions including quotes, orders, expediting, and order status updatesReview and break down incoming purchase orders to ensure proper order parameters and proceduresEnter and verify orders within the order entry system, ensuring accuracy from entry through shipmentCommunicate proactively with Sales Management regarding customer concerns or complaintsRespond promptly to customer inquiries related to order status and additional informationConduct post-sale follow-ups to ensure ongoing customer satisfactionCollaborate cross-functionally to ensure service excellenceMeet or exceed assigned sales and customer service goalsMaintain a professional and customer-focused presenceFollow company policies and proceduresPerform additional duties as assigned Required Knowledge & Skills: 2+ years of Inside Sales experience (pipe or steel industry preferred)Prior steel industry experience strongly preferredSAP experience preferredStrong knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)Strong teamwork and relationship-building skillsExcellent customer service and communication skillsHigh level of attention to detail and accuracyJSW Steel USA is an equal opportunity employer.
