As a certified Raymond dealer, we offer new and pre-owned lift trucks and forklifts, parts, storage solutions, integrated systems, fleet management and other services to support our client's operations.Used Equipment Assembly Technician (Kansas City, MO)Position Summary: The Used Equipment Technician is responsible for the proficient Disassembling and Reassembling of Lift Trucks designated for the Rebuild Center in a timely and cost-effective manner so that established requirements are met. The Used Equipment Technician is responsible for maintaining good communication and working relationships with customers, peers and management and to be profitable with direct labor billing while working within all safety guidelines established by Heubel Shaw and OSHA.Principle Duties And Responsibilities:Evaluate, disassemble, paint, and rebuild used forklifts in accordance with established guidelines and procedures.Complete all required paperwork and time records accurately and completely follow Technician procedures as directed by management. Account for all parts, materials, tools, and consumables used as required.Work safely in accordance with company and/or customer safety policies procedures.Develop and maintain positive, effective working relationship with co-workers.Keep workspaces clean, serviceable and in ASEC condition at all times. Maintain the equipment, storage devices, service manuals and related documents.Attend meeting, training classes and other company activities as required.Maintain uniforms to always look neat and professional.Report all accidents, injuries, safety violations and unsafe working conditions immediately.Keep an adequate set of personal tools as always required by supervisor.Various additional responsibilities as assigned by management.Work with all departments and employees to ensure quality. The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:Mechanical aptitude and ability.Basic knowledge of industrial electricityExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Self-starter and creative problem solver.Ability to read schematics, diagrams, operation manuals, and manufacturer’s specifications.Must be able to follow directions.Must possess a valid driver’s license.Maintain personally owned tools according to approved minimum levels.Must have working knowledge of hydraulic systems.Education Required: High school diploma, general education degree (GED)Experience Required:Breakdown experience or comparable service experienceCompany DescriptionWith more than 100 combined years in business and 11 locations in the Central U.S., HEUBEL·SHAW has the resources and reach to offer a complete warehouse management solution.
