Dispatcher

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Dispatcher to manage daily operations for a fleet of 50 100 dump trucks. This role is responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring both internal company trucks and external subcontracted trucks to ensure safe, efficient, and timely transportation of materials. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively manage multiple priorities.Key ResponsibilitiesSchedule and coordinate daily dispatch operations for 50 100 dump trucksAssign company drivers and subcontractors to routes based on jobsite needs and efficiencyMonitor internal and external truck locations and job progress in real timeCommunicate with drivers, customers, project managers, and subcontractors to ensure timely serviceAdjust schedules to accommodate delays, traffic, weather, or jobsite changesMaintain accurate dispatch logs, load tickets, driver hours, and billing documentationEnsure compliance with company policies, DOT regulations, and safety standardsTrack fleet utilization and provide performance updates to managementAddress and resolve service or scheduling issues quickly and professionallyCoordinate with maintenance personnel regarding equipment availability and downtimeQualificationsPrevious experience in dispatching, logistics, transportation, or fleet coordinationExperience managing high-volume truck operations preferredStrong understanding of routing, scheduling, and geographic areasAbility to multitask and make quick decisions under pressureExcellent communication and organizational skillsProficiency with dispatch software, GPS tracking systems, and Microsoft OfficeKnowledge of DOT regulations preferredCandidates may apply by sending an updated resume to this ad.
