Laser Operator

Laser Operator - Hendersonville - 1st Shift - Up to $25.00/hr. PrideStaff is recruiting for a Laser Operator for 1st Shift for a manufacturing company located in Hendersonville. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated hard worker with a positive attitude! Duties and Responsibilities: Perform typical laser cutting operations. Defers to the Shop foreman with regards to job sequence, normally due date. Select proper cutting programs, and proper fixtures. Establish proper stop location, adjust laser beam focal point. Make proper set-ups for cutting operations. Perform prescribed maintenance as required. Perform all dimensional inspections. Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor. May work at different workstations as production needs require. Requirements and Qualifications: High School diploma/GED Minimum of two years laser operating experience Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings Mechanical aptitude and good math skills Basic computer skills Attention to detail Hours of Work: Monday through Thursday; 6 AM - 4:30 PM
