Construction Landscaping Foreman

Job Position: Construction Landscaping ForemanLocation: Sioux City, IA 51111Pay Rate: $22.00/hrShift:Description: Short Staffed Inc. is seeking an experienced and dependable Lead / Foreman to oversee crews working with a local construction and landscaping company. This is an ongoing position. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, an excellent work ethic, and the ability to manage crews while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards. Travel may be required based on job site demands.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and lead a crew on landscaping and light construction projectsCoordinate daily job site activities and assign tasks to team membersEnsure proper installation of mulch, gravel, decorative rock, and other materialsOversee site preparation, grading, and final cleanupLoad, unload, and manage materials, tools, and equipment on-siteTrain and mentor crew members to improve performance and efficiencyMonitor productivity and ensure deadlines are metEnforce all safety policies and procedures at all timesOperate and oversee the safe use of hand tools and equipmentCommunicate effectively with project managers, clients, and team membersMaintain a clean, organized, and professional job siteQualifications:Previous landscaping or construction experience required (leadership experience strongly preferred)Proven ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced outdoor environmentStrong communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to work outdoors in various weather conditionsMust be able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor as neededReliable transportation required; ability to travel is a plusStrong work ethic, dependability, and attention to detailAbility to work independently while taking full ownership of job site performance
