Software Engineer – Senior/Mid-Level **This position is for our Pittsburgh, PA office - only apply if you are based there or willing to relocate** Role is considered hybrid with possibility of two days from home (Tuesday and Thursday) with flexibility to work more days in house if needed or requested. We are looking for a software engineer who loves to code and is not afraid of challenging, open-ended problems. You will have opportunities to work on front-end modern web UI, cloud infrastructure, back-end implementation, and integration with our machine learning pipeline. You will be collaborating with a highly capable team of software engineers, machine learning engineers, and embedded engineers. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the growth of a leading product in the burgeoning tinyML market. Responsibilities: Cross-functional collaboration with machine learning, DevOps, and business teams to support, enhance, and improve the TDK SensEI product suite Improve our front-end with new features and adoption of best practices Creating new code, improving existing code, and participating in code review Helping the machine learning team as needed in other numerous ways, including with research projects, product commercialization, and demo development Assist with monitoring product status and releases to QA, production, and internal environments Required skills: BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar technical degree; or equivalent relevant work experience Skilled with Javascript, Typescript, HTML, CSS, including concepts such as responsive web design and cross browser compatibility Experience implementing web applications in modern UI frameworks, such as React, Vue.js or Angular; work on data visualization & dashboards in an IoT or industrial context highly desired Expertise with modern Javascript and Typescript best practices, including build systems such as vita or webpack Knowledge of deploying web apps using AWS services, Docker, and integration Bonus: Python, C, and Golang experience Proficiency with Linux or another Unix-based operating system and shell scripting Familiarity / interest in machine learning TDK SensEI offers a comprehensive benefit package.
