Full service General Surgery practice is seeking a BE/BC General Surgeon to join our team in New York City. We are located in downtown Manhattan near all shopping, gourmet restaurants, Museums, Soho and Tribeca areas. We are a very busy Private Practice PC group in a new professional building. State of Art Surgical units allow consultations and surgical procedures in the same site. We have hospital affiliations with: Mount Sinai-Beth Israel Medical Center, Lenox Hill Hospital, and Maimonides Medical Center.General cases may include: gallbladders, hernias, hemorrhoids, appendicitis occasionally lumps and bumps and bread and butter kinds of General. Looking for a surgeon who is ready to take on these cases when needed, with laparoscopic skills.Practice Information: Approximately 300-400 cases per year. Approx: 30% breast, 50% hernia & cholecystectomy, 10% lumps and masses of skins, 10% abdominal cancer In OR 1-2x per week, depending on cases you get. Non-OR will be in office 10-5 seeing patients(20-35 patients a day), minor surgeries can be done in office No ER calls, only on call for private patients. Board Certified/Eligible preferred.
