Business Analyst
| Location: Houston, TX | ContractOur client is seeking a Business Analyst to serve as a vital link between technical teams and business stakeholders within a dynamic IT environment. This role focuses on analyzing and enhancing business processes, supporting system implementations, and ensuring technology solutions align with organizational goals in a regulated energy sector context.Key ResponsibilitiesActs as a liaison between technical staff and business owners to facilitate clear communication and understanding.Contributes advanced expertise in defining system scope and objectives aligned with the organization’s business plan and user requirements.Documents detailed business and user requirements, process flow definitions, and functional specifications.Develops and formulates test plans in collaboration with QA and partner groups, preparing for business user testing.Coordinates with users to gather, validate, and document business needs, process flows, and functional specifications.Maintains and updates project documentation repositories, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.Leads project teams through the process of gaining business user acceptance and approval.Reviews project progress, evaluates results for accuracy and efficiency, and implements improvements as needed.Required QualificationsProficiency in systems development, implementation, upgrades, and related analysis.Experience with QA testing, business analyst methodologies, and system design and analysis.Strong training and communication skills.Ability to work onsite in Houston, TX, with a hybrid schedule (Monday-Thursday onsite, Friday remote).Preferred QualificationsPrior experience in energy management, power systems, or related regulated industries.Familiarity with project documentation tools and process modeling.Certification in business analysis or related fields.About Delphi-US - Peacemakers In The Talent WarDelphi-US is a national IT Services firm based in Newport, Rhode Island.
