As a Level 3 trauma center, it offers quality care in a supportive environment with modern facilities and a collaborative team approach to patient care.Opportunity:Board Certification Eligible - Obstetrics and GynecologyJob Details:Permanent position with approximately 30 patient encounters per shiftManage both low and high risk pregnanciesPerform FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE)Conduct OB ultrasounds including Level I/Screening (viability) and Level II/Targeted (anatomic)Perform routine deliveries including vaginal and low forcepsMake decisions regarding c-sections when necessaryHandle complicated deliveries including c-sections, breech, multiple births, abruptions, and VBACs (preferred)Repair 3rd & 4th degree lacerationsProvide office/minor gynecology services including IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.Perform surgical gynecology procedures including open and laparoscopic proceduresConduct operative/major procedures including treatment of ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, and extensive LOA'sACLS and BLS certifications requiredLaser certification preferred90-day estimated credentialing timeframeCompensation:Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
